SOCH Foundation Adds Four New Trustees
Trustees
Shown, left to right, at its most recent Board meeting, are Executive Director Chris Rollins, new Foundation Trustees Joe Mancini and Dr. Mike Aaron, Foundation Chair John Flynn, new Trustees Art Barron and Peter Goldman, and SOCH President Joe Coyle.

The Southern Ocean County Hospital Foundation is honored to welcome four new members to its Board of Trustees.

Dr. Michael Aaron is a cardiologist with the Shore Heart Group, and a member of the medical staff both at SOCH and Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Art Barron is the retired President of Paramount Pictures Entertainment Group, an LBI homeowner, and a current Trustee of the Hospital.  He and his wife Joan were recipients of the James J. Mancini Award for Community Service.

Peter Goldman is the retired President of Johanna Farms, an LBI homeowner, a current Trustee of the Hospital and – with his wife Debby – a volunteer in the Hospital.  Both were recognized with the James J. Mancini Award for Community Service.

Joe Mancini is the Mayor of Long Beach Township, President of Mancini Realty on LBI, and the current Vice Chair of the Southern Ocean County Hospital Board of Trustees.  His father, Jim, was the longtime Chairman of the Hospital Board.

The SOCH Foundation has announced plans to support the coming renovation and expansion of the Hospital’s busy Emergency Department.  The Foundation’s four Auxiliary chapters have set the pace for the fundraising effort, by announcing a four-year, $2 million pledge.

SOCH’s pending merger with the Meridian Health System will only strengthen the Foundation and its Auxiliaries, and – most importantly – all contributions will stay in southern Ocean County, for the benefit of our Hospital.  To learn more about the SOCH Foundation, and how you can reinvest in the health of your community, contact Executive Director Chris Rollins at (609) 978-3081.
