OceanFirst Foundation Continues Its Support of SOCH

The OceanFirst Foundation recently completed its significant commitment to increasing the inpatient capacity of Southern Ocean County Hospital, when Nina Anuario and Katherine Durante presented the third and final $100,000 installment of their $300,000 pledge to the SOCH Foundation.

OceanFirst’s generous support helped create The Tracy Armellino Telemetry Unit, which opened earlier this year.  The new unit added 32 needed beds to SOCH, including two in-patient dialysis beds, and 30 monitored beds.

“Southern Ocean County is fortunate to have an institution such as OceanFirst, which is so clearly devoted to its community,” says SOCH Foundation Executive Director Chris Rollins.  “As we address the challenging healthcare needs of our growing community, it is essential that we have the support of our neighbors.  We are grateful for OceanFirst’s leadership.”

Like the hospital it supports, The SOCH Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to improve the health status of the communities it serves, through the capital and programmatic support of Southern Ocean County Hospital.  To learn more about how to reinvest in the health of the community, call (609) 978-3081, or visit www.SOCHFoundation.org.
